This was my first event since relocating from the UK to Melbourne, Australia so I made a lot of effort to make the designs look as engaging as possible.
I illustrated an octopus/kraken style creature surrounding a vinyl record to show the connection between the sea, which is the setting for the party, and the dance style music to be played on it.
These illustrations were then converted onto our social media for the Facebook event page and the Eventbrite ticket website.
The colour palette was simple, effective and consistent throughout all mediums, showing an immediate connection to the boat party event.
Poster series with QR code for tickets which were very successful in generating sales in Melbourne CBD and surrounding suburbs.
Clip of the animation I designed to be shown behind the DJ and to be used for promo on social media platforms.
